Project - Street Dance

This dancing project was set up originally with funding from Streetgames and funding from vinsipred to engage young people in physical activity and volunteering opportunities.  This was so successful that Street Dance was formed in 2010 and to date close to 100 young people have accessed the project.

The project has also helped fund 6 young people to get their Level 1 and 2 Coaching qualifications in Streetcheer and Urban Flow.

Currently the sessions are as follows:

Wednesday 4pm till 5pm for 5 to 7 year old

Thursday 4pm till 5pm for 8 to 10 year olds.

Friday 4pm till 7pm 11 to 19 year old. Each session only costs 50p per person

We decided to keep the cost of the sessions cheap as possible to enable all young people to be able to access dancing opportunities.  These sessions are facilitated by fully qualified dancing coaches
